Thank you friends and followers of my weekly articles about the dynamics of our shifting workforce on Monday’s and how to impact change in adult learning on Friday’s each week in EvoLLLution eMagazine You may have noted my absence last Friday, June 22. I’ve been incapacitated a bit with a low back injury, but recovery nicely with physical therapy.

In my Monday, June 25th article “The Global Competition for Talent” there is a typo that I wanted to call to your attention.  The McKinsey Global Institute survey found a shortfall of 38 to 40 million in global demand for college or post-graduate degree knowledge workers by 2020, not 30 million as reported.  My sincere apologies for that typo twice in the story.  Otherwise, you may find it is very important information for organizations, enterprises, or businesses large or small to know and to determine how they will develop and manage their workforce for the future. I will be writing more about the ramifications of the MGI survey.

On Friday, June 29, we will discuss the proliferation of webinars in adult learning, “How’s Your Webinar Grade? Want to Learn most anything? Sign up for a webinar!” Be sure to read how this activity has changed the way we learn.

All of my published articles can be found at ISSUU www.issuu.com/sp3m , if you missed one and want to catch up.  I have also created a group on Issue.com for conversations about the evolution of our workforce, the impact (or lack of) from our adult education system to keep pace with learning needs, the change in the demographic mix and size of our workforce and ideas for filling the shortfall in the leadership pipeline.  Please join the group conversation we are beginning that is most important to our future economic growth at http://issuu.com/groups/blendedworkforce.
